Festival goers are kept apprised of new classes, sponsor updates, breaking news and fishing tips as well. About our raffles

The Virginia Fly Fishing Festival earns the bulk of it’s funding from sponsors as well as vendor fees and of course raffle items. Raffle items are usually placed in packages valued from $300-$500 dollars and can be purchased for $5. Although many of our prizes are fishing related, others are items such as weekend get aways, artwork, clothing or books that anyone would enjoy. Attendees can buy as many of these general raffle tickets as they wish.

This year’s Grand Prize is a $1,000 shopping spree from Orvis, for only $20! This lucky winner will receive an Orvis gift cards totaling $1,000 which can be used on anything in their stores. Only 500 of these tickets will be sold and winners need not be present at the festival to claim their prize.

Raffle Rules

Prizes can be claimed at the festival in person the weekend of our event, or can be picked up at the festival office at 421 West Main Street in Waynesboro, Virginia. Winners have one week to claim their prizes after this date any unclaimed prize will be used the following year. Only tickets which are filled out giving full name and contact information will be considered for the drawings. Prizes can not be transferred or altered in any way with out the express written consent of the Virginia Fly Fishing Festival Committee. Winners are responsible for any taxes which might be owned on prizes.
