Can I take a casting class?

Spey casting, anyone? If you’d like to learn to cast the two-handed rod, we’ve got the class for you. Dan Davala, president of the Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders Club and fishing manager of the Orvis store in Arlington, Virginia, can help you discover the joys and avoid the pitfalls of Spey casting. Dan is a certified FFF Casting Instructor whose passion for the sport is evident to all. He’ll teach small groups on Saturday and Sunday from 8:30-11 AM. John Bilotta, also an FFF certified instructor, co-teaches this class with Dan. Your fee includes your choice of class day; festival admission is not included.
